A solution that combines flexibility in shapes and colours,

Maximum flexibility of shapes, dimensions and colours, combined with the highest performance in terms of mechanical resistance to atmospheric agents and fire resistance and extreme ease and speed of application. Hardie® Panel fibre cement boards are the ideal solution for the creation of ventilated facades in all contexts: from small buildings to large surfaces, from residential to commercial or tertiary complexes, from new constructions to energy requalification interventions.

The aesthetic standards of the intervention

There were two aesthetic canons followed in the intervention: "We were looking for slabs that had very large formats, but which at the same time allowed us versatility of application, i.e. the use of several different formats within the same facade, so as to be able to give a movement to the building, which has an imposing appearance . - he continues - Then, thanks to the wide choice of colors that the product offered us, we developed a solution that exploited the chromatic play of three different colors (ice white, gravel gray and taupe gray) in dialogue with each other” .
Two other pluses oriented the Cairepro designers towards the James Hardie solution. First of all, the fire-fighting characteristics of fiber cement: "Being very tall buildings, it was necessary to use a package that did not present combustion problems: so we used fireproof glass wool and, for the skin, a class A1 reaction to fire material" . And then the attachment system, which allowed for quick installation.

Furthermore, these are the same reasons that also led the arch. Roberto Chierici to adopt the same solution to the other two buildings involved in the redevelopment project: "The ventilated façade with James Hardie slabs allowed us to give the two buildings a contemporary image which enhances the solids and voids of the surface and also qualifies the relationship between the buildings and the surrounding context" .
